A modern match-making tool for Kentucky and Southern Indiana to bring individuals and nonprofits together who share the same passion for strengthening the community by bringing to the table:
Serving on a board or committee not your speed?
Look to our friends at Metro United Way for ways to post help you need or to look for ways to help.
We want to thank our funders and partners for helping make this happen.
The BoardMatch System automatically analyzes every new individual and board position opening, notifying both parties if a match is found.
Ready for a different kind of relationship? BoardMatch could connect you with the nonprofit of your dreams. Serving on a nonprofit board or committee can provide fantastic opportunities for your personal and professional development. Being a great board member is having the passion for the organization you are working with, and the education and training to put that passion to work effectively.
This modern day match-making tool allows you to post open board and committee seats for your organization, while also having the ability to search profiles of individuals who are looking to be placed. BoardMatch was created by the Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNPE) to help you grow and diversify your board of directors and build strong committees.
If your company has several talented people who are eager to give back, corporate concierge services might be for you. This fee-based option allows your company to manage multiple people through BoardMatch and to select the service package that will equip your team with new leadership skills and the chance to really engage with the community. If you don’t see the right service package fit for your company, no worries: we can design one together.
Please click on the “Terms and Conditions” link at the bottom of this page and review that information before registering on BoardMatch. By registering, you are affirming that you have read these Terms and Conditions and will comply with them.
CNPE does not screen organizations on BoardMatch other than to verify that they are CNPE members. We encourage prospective board members and volunteers to conduct their own due diligence on any organization with which they are matched. For example, you may want to review their status on Guidestar.org, CharityNavigator.org, or BBB.org. You may also want to review their social media postings.
CNPE does not review the credentials of individuals seeking to be matched with nonprofit organizations on BoardMatch. We do verify that they are real people (and not “bots”), but nonprofits considering a matched person should check prospects’ backgrounds with the same care that they would for employees – including, where appropriate, a criminal background check. Asking matched persons for reference letters would also be appropriate.
